This guestbook is for those who have visited the cottage and would like to pass on useful information for future visitors to the cottage.

In the 17 years of having this cottage, Carol and I have hardly explored the region. Most of our time has been taken up looking after the cottage, making improvements etc.. We still use it as our private retreat though not as much as we would like.

Only for the last 18 months have we rented out the cottage. It is strange to let out what we consider to be still our private dwelling space. However, it is a shame to leave the cottage unoccupied for weeks at a time when others can be having the same pleasure from the cottage and its magnificent surroundings as we get.

This is not a business, so in return for promising to respect the cottage and leave it clean and tidy as it should be when you arrive, so we can offer the cottage at a price that represents excellent value.
